My name is Jeff Schankerman. I am a Financial Planner and proud member of the Infinity Strategic Partners team, serving clients from our offices in Northbrook, IL and Merrillville, IN.
I’ve spent most of my career in the financial industry, creating investment and retirement strategies for individuals and families who want a clear plan for their finances—so they can focus on living their lives.
My approach begins with deep listening and thoughtful questions, which are two important steps I believe are often overlooked. From there, I draw on my experience, creativity, and the resources of our team to deliver personalized, actionable guidance rooted in each client’s unique needs. As the son of two educators, I strive to make complex financial concepts clear and understandable, without oversimplifying.
I graduated from Indiana University where I studied Psychology and Business. My career in the Financial Industry began in 1994, as a founding partner of a Cincinnati, Ohio stock trading firm. After buying the shares of the other partners, building and selling the firm, our family moved back to Chicago, where I continued working in the Stock Trading industry, transitioning into money management in 2007. Since that time, I have built a roster of clients I truly enjoy, and I’m looking forward to meeting new ones.
My wife and I have lived in Evanston, Illinois since 2001, raising a son and daughter who now live in Downtown Chicago, adding a son-in-law and grandkids along the way. We’re Cubs fans and “big dog people”.Licenses/Registrations held:
