Michael is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ Professional and holds the Series 7 and 66 Securities registrations, along with Life, Health, and Long-Term Care Insurance Licenses. He earned his undergraduate degree from Brandeis University and his Certificate in Financial Planning from Northwestern University.
Michael's entrepreneurial journey began with owning a retail operation, followed by a successful 17-year tenure on the trading floors of the CBOE and the CME. This experience propelled him into the fast-paced world of hedge funds, where he managed portfolios for two funds with total assets nearing $300 million.
Michael is passionate about giving back to the community. He remains actively involved with Brandeis University as a member of the local and National Board of Directors of the Alumni Association. Additionally, Michael participates in several other charities and occasionally offers pro bono financial planning services.
Michael and his wife Ellen live in Deerfield, Illinois and is the father of three beautiful daughters.
